Switching over to Gatsby.js framework for a more fast, secure, and scalable web driven experience

Gatsby is a flexible framework used to make headless websites from a CMS or from an API. In turn it leads to a faster front end experience, faster load times, and faster content creation.

Because Gatsby websites are headless HTML they end up having zero security risks. No more DDOS attacks, security vulnerabilities or malicious attacks.

My first Gatsby website is my own portfolio website. Driven from a WordPress backend with custom Gutenberg blocks, this was my first delve into GraphiQL and the Gatsby framework. This was defiantly a worthwhile, and life changing experience. Building blazing fast websites with React and Gatsby has been a revolution. I was so use to just building plain old WordPress and Shopify websites that this was defiantly a change of pace.

At the end of the day, I am glad I took the time to learn the framework and work through this experience. Nothing is more fun than learning new things on the web. The versatility of Gatsby is absolutely amazing as well. When building a Gatsby website I can pull data from various sources.

Gatsby does not start and stop at just providing blazing fast websites. It also has its own cloud services for deploying and hosting your website, as well as auditing features and even onboarding with expert training and more. They also have starters for almost any project you are looking to start, themes and some of the best documentation around.
